ShopRx, Prescription Treatment, Payment, Refund & Fulfillment Policy

Last Updated: July 9, 2026

This policy applies to treatment requests, prescription programs, compounded medications, and other products or services accessed through Beauty Refined, LLC (“Beauty Refined”) and the Beauty Refined website.

1. Prescription Products Are Not Available for Unrestricted Public Purchase

Beauty Refined operates a telehealth medical practice.

Certain pages of the Beauty Refined website may display prescription treatment programs, compounded medications, or other therapies that require evaluation and authorization by a licensed healthcare provider.

The display of a treatment, medication, compounded preparation, price, or other information on the website does not mean that the medication is available for unrestricted purchase by the general public.

Prescription medications are not dispensed solely because a website visitor selects a product, submits an order request, provides payment information, or completes checkout.

All prescription treatment requests are subject to the medical evaluation, provider licensure, prescribing, pharmacy, and jurisdictional requirements described in this policy.

2. Required Medical Intake and Consent Process

Before a prescription medication may be authorized for fulfillment, the patient must complete the medical evaluation process required by Beauty Refined and the treating healthcare provider.

Depending on the treatment requested, this process may include:

  • Medical history and health questionnaire;
  • Current medications, allergies, and contraindication screening;
  • Patient identity and contact information;
  • Patient residence and physical location information;
  • Telehealth consent;
  • Treatment-specific informed consent;
  • Laboratory testing or submission of recent laboratory results when clinically required;
  • Photographs, medical records, or other clinical information when necessary; and
  • Additional communication or consultation with the treating healthcare provider when clinically appropriate or legally required.

Beauty Refined uses secure electronic forms and healthcare technology platforms, including Jotform, to collect medical intake information, patient consents, and supporting clinical documentation.

Completion of the medical intake or consent process does not guarantee approval for treatment.

3. Independent Provider Review

Every request for prescription treatment is subject to independent review by an appropriately licensed healthcare provider.

The provider evaluates the patient’s medical history, requested treatment, contraindications, current medications, allergies, laboratory information when required, and other clinically relevant information.

The provider may request additional information, testing, medical records, synchronous communication, or an in-person evaluation when clinically appropriate or required by applicable law.

The healthcare provider retains independent professional judgment regarding whether treatment is medically appropriate.

Payment, completion of checkout, submission of an order request, or completion of intake and consent forms does not obligate a provider to issue a prescription.

A prescription is issued only when the provider determines that treatment is medically appropriate and may lawfully be prescribed to the patient.

4. Patient Location and Provider Licensure Requirements

Patients must provide accurate information regarding their state of residence and physical location when receiving telehealth medical services.

Prescription treatment may be provided only when an appropriately licensed or otherwise legally authorized healthcare provider is available to evaluate and treat the patient in the jurisdiction where the patient is located.

Beauty Refined does not authorize prescription treatment when provider licensure or other applicable jurisdictional requirements cannot be satisfied.

Patients may be required to provide additional information to verify identity, residence, or physical location.

5. Order Requests and Website Checkout

For prescription treatments, use of the website shopping cart, submission of an order, or completion of checkout constitutes a request to participate in a medical evaluation and treatment process.

A website transaction does not constitute the purchase of a prescription medication, does not create an automatic right to receive medication, does not constitute provider approval, and does not guarantee that a prescription will be issued or medication dispensed.

No prescription medication is authorized for pharmacy fulfillment solely because payment has been submitted.

All treatment requests remain subject to completion of required intake and consent documents, provider review and approval, applicable provider licensure requirements, pharmacy acceptance, pharmacy licensure requirements, and applicable federal and state law.

6. Payment Collected Before Completion of Medical Review

When Beauty Refined collects payment before completion of provider review, payment is collected in connection with the patient’s request for evaluation and, if approved, the treatment program and related healthcare services described at checkout.

Payment does not constitute payment for an automatically issued prescription and does not guarantee that medication will be prescribed, compounded, dispensed, or shipped.

No prescription is issued solely because payment has been collected.

7. Patients Who Are Not Approved or Cannot Lawfully Be Treated

If a patient is not approved for prescription treatment, prescription medication will not be dispensed.

This may occur when:

  • The healthcare provider determines that treatment is not medically appropriate;
  • Required medical information, consents, laboratory results, or other documentation are not provided;
  • An appropriately licensed healthcare provider is unavailable for the patient’s jurisdiction;
  • Applicable telehealth or prescribing requirements cannot be satisfied;
  • The dispensing pharmacy cannot lawfully dispense or ship the prescribed medication to the patient’s jurisdiction;
  • The dispensing pharmacy declines to accept or fulfill the prescription; or
  • Another legal, regulatory, clinical, or operational requirement prevents treatment or fulfillment.

When payment has been collected and no prescription medication has been dispensed, prepared for the patient, or otherwise made non-refundable under applicable law and the disclosed terms of the applicable treatment program, Beauty Refined will cancel the unfulfilled medication portion of the request and issue any refund required under the applicable program terms and law.

Any separately disclosed and earned consultation, medical evaluation, laboratory, administrative, or other service fees may be non-refundable when permitted by applicable law and clearly disclosed to the patient before payment.

8. Prescription and Pharmacy Fulfillment

Beauty Refined does not manufacture or compound prescription medications and does not directly dispense prescription medications to patients.

When an authorized healthcare provider determines that prescription treatment is medically appropriate, the provider may issue a patient-specific prescription and transmit it to an appropriately licensed dispensing pharmacy.

The dispensing pharmacy independently determines whether it can accept the prescription and lawfully compound, dispense, and ship the prescribed medication to the patient’s jurisdiction.

The pharmacy may request additional information, decline a prescription, or refuse fulfillment when its clinical, legal, licensing, regulatory, or operational requirements cannot be satisfied.

A provider’s issuance of a prescription does not guarantee pharmacy fulfillment.

9. Compounded Medications

Certain treatment plans may involve compounded medications.

Compounded medications are not FDA-approved drug products. The FDA does not review compounded medications for safety, effectiveness, or manufacturing quality before they are marketed.

The decision to prescribe a compounded medication is made by the treating healthcare provider based on the individual patient’s clinical circumstances, medical needs, available treatment options, and applicable law.

The availability of a particular compounded medication, ingredient, formulation, or dosage may change based on pharmacy capabilities, ingredient availability, regulatory requirements, provider clinical judgment, and the patient’s jurisdiction.

10. Cancellation Before Prescription Fulfillment

A patient may request cancellation of an order request before a prescription has been transmitted for fulfillment.

Cancellation requests are not guaranteed if the medical evaluation has been completed, a prescription has been transmitted, the pharmacy has accepted the prescription, or preparation of a patient-specific compounded medication has begun.

Any refund will be determined based on the status of the medical evaluation, prescription, pharmacy fulfillment process, applicable program terms, and applicable law.

11. Prescription Medications After Pharmacy Fulfillment Begins

Patient-specific prescription medications and compounded medications generally cannot be returned for resale or reused for another patient.

Once a prescription has been accepted for fulfillment, compounded, prepared, dispensed, or shipped, cancellation, refund, return, or exchange may not be available except when required by law or when the dispensing pharmacy or Beauty Refined determines that a verified dispensing error, product defect, shipping issue, or other circumstance warrants corrective action.

Patients should contact Beauty Refined promptly regarding suspected dispensing errors, damaged shipments, temperature concerns, incorrect products, or other fulfillment issues.

12. Shipping and Delivery

Estimated shipping and delivery timelines are provided for convenience and are not guaranteed.

Prescription medications are shipped by the dispensing pharmacy or its authorized fulfillment partners.

Shipping delays may occur due to prescription processing, pharmacy review, medication preparation, weather, carrier delays, holidays, patient availability, address issues, or other circumstances outside Beauty Refined’s direct control.

Patients are responsible for providing accurate and complete shipping information.

Patients should contact Beauty Refined promptly regarding lost packages, damaged shipments, delivery problems, temperature concerns, or other issues involving prescription medication shipments so that the matter may be reviewed with the dispensing pharmacy and carrier.

13. Retail and Non-Prescription Products

Return and refund eligibility for skincare products, supplements, and other non-prescription retail products will be disclosed at checkout or on the applicable product page.

Products that have been opened, used, altered, or damaged after delivery may not be eligible for return.

Verified shipping damage, fulfillment errors, or manufacturer defects should be reported promptly for review.

14. No Guarantee of Treatment Approval or Outcome

Beauty Refined does not guarantee that a patient will qualify for a requested treatment, receive a prescription, receive a particular medication or formulation, obtain pharmacy fulfillment, or achieve a particular clinical result.

Healthcare providers retain independent clinical judgment regarding all medical evaluations, treatment decisions, and prescribing decisions.

15. Payment Processing

Payments are processed through third-party payment processors identified at checkout.

Beauty Refined does not store complete payment card information.

Use of third-party payment processing services is subject to the applicable processor’s terms and privacy practices.

16. Fraud, Misrepresentation, and Misuse

Beauty Refined may reject or cancel treatment requests, restrict access to online services, or terminate the provider-patient relationship when permitted by applicable law in cases involving fraud, misuse, inaccurate patient information, falsified medical information, payment fraud, abusive conduct, or violations of Beauty Refined policies.

Termination of healthcare services will be handled in accordance with applicable professional and legal obligations.
